Who We Are

I.Porter Ltd was formed by Ivan Porter in 1999 providing a contract CAD service to a global automotive manufacturer.

Having previously served an engineering apprenticeship in the defence industry, the high precision experience was a sound foundation for the plastic injection mould making and design roles that followed.

In 2001 manual milling and turning machines were purchased to support a motorcycle racing obsession. Later, our first CNC mill was acquired and a part time design and manufacture service was born serving mainly the motorsport industry.

Subsequent upgrades to machines and equipment allowed the machining service to become a full time concern supplying a broader range of market sectors.
